Qigong is an ancient Chinese healthcare system that integrates physical postures & flow, breathing techniques and intention. The word Qigong (pronounced “Chee Kung”) is made up of two Chinese words. “Qi” is the life force or vital energy that flows through all things in the universe. The second word, “Gong” means accomplishment or skill cultivated through steady practice. Together, Qigong means “energy cultivation”.
Benefits of regular practice include calming the mind and the body, reducing chronic fatigue, promoting the flow of energy, improving balance and flexibility, boosting the immune system, and increasing general health and well-being.
Practised in the evening, it’s a perfect way to unwind from the day, release stress, and prepare for a good night’s sleep.
Suitable for ALL, no experience needed. Don’t wait until you think you’re flexible enough or not fit enough to start practising. Flexibility, strength, mobility, and overall health are not prerequisites, but the RESULTS of regular practice.
